6. Contact forms and email

When you send an enquiry, our website may email a notification to the Frankson team and send you an automatic acknowledgement. We use the information in your enquiry to respond, understand your needs and follow up on the requested service.

Submitting a contact enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email. Marketing messages are sent only where we have an appropriate legal basis, and every eligible message will provide a way to unsubscribe.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on or accessed from your device. Depending on the WordPress features and services active on our website, cookies may be used for:

  • Strictly necessary functions, including security, form operation and session management;
  • preferences, such as remembering selected settings;
  • analytics and performance, to understand site usage and improve reliability; and
  • marketing, where implemented and permitted, to measure campaigns or personalise promotion.

The exact cookies may change when website plugins or third-party services change. Where required, non-essential cookies will be controlled through a consent tool. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, although some features may then work differently.

8. When we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • hosting, cloud storage, email, SMTP, security and IT support providers;
  • analytics, communication, project-management and marketing service providers;
  • payment providers where a payment feature is used;
  • employees, contractors and delivery partners who need it for an authorised project;

  • regulators, courts or public authorities where disclosure is required or lawful; and
  • a buyer, investor or successor in connection with a genuine business reorganisation or transfer.

Service providers are permitted to process information only for authorised purposes and are expected to protect it appropriately.

9. International data transfers

Some technology providers may store or process information outside Nigeria. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps required by applicable law to ensure an appropriate level of protection. These may include approved contractual safeguards, adequacy decisions or another lawful transfer mechanism.

10. How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, our relationship with you, legal obligations, security, accounting or dispute resolution. Typical periods include:

  • general enquiries: normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless the enquiry becomes a client relationship or a longer period is needed;
  • client and project records: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required for legal, contractual, accounting or support purposes;
  • marketing records: until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or the information is no longer useful, while retaining a minimal suppression record where needed to honour your choice; and
  • technical and security logs: for a shorter operational period unless an incident or legal requirement justifies longer retention.

Retention can vary according to the nature and sensitivity of the information. When no longer required, information is deleted, anonymised or securely archived where deletion must be deferred.

11. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. Measures may include encrypted connections, access controls, least-privilege permissions, software updates, backups, monitoring and carefully selected providers.
